I would have to say that this article got me thinking a lot about the things that we don’t normally think about. It has me thinking about what I touched on in my previous notes about different fads and how they’re cool on second and then 3 months later they aren’t. The article makes me think about this because of  how it mentioned that blogs are short lived. Meaning they’re on here for such a short period of time and then they just are abonadend like a toy you don’t play with anymore. Lamba used the term “ out of sight out of mind.” (1) I think that that’s with a lot of things in society, and he used it to describe how blogs are another form of journalism or news reports the only difference is that they are uncensored. Like some blogs during 911 showed people actually jumping out of the buildings as the buildings were crashing down. I think that for me that says a lot about people that blog. It says that they are willing to show you the truth when no one else will, and that they want you to know what is going on in the world or what is happening outside of your safe and collective life. In a short term people that blog are WOKE. They see what’s happening and what’s being done and they want to do more. That to me just leaves me with the question why? If you’re this into society and you’re giving the people what they want then why? Why stop blogging? I guess we’ll never know!
